"Qiaoqiao!"
Qiao Qiao looked at Qiao Xixi. "Mother, I... I want to save Tata." After speaking, she turned to Gu Man. "Auntie, please let me try, okay?"
Gu Man's lips trembled. Only a single thought remained in her mind: bring Tata back to life.
"Come here."
Qiao Qiao glanced at Qiao Xixi. After seeing her mother nod, she walked over to Tata and took his small, cold hand.
A warm light flew from her palm, trickling into Tata's body. Perhaps it was just an illusion, but as the warm light enveloped Tata, Qiao Xixi thought his complexion didn't seem quite so deathly pale anymore.
But as Qiao Qiao continued to channel the warm light, her own face grew increasingly pale.
"Qiaoqiao?" Qiao Xixi came to her side and spoke softly.
Qiao Qiao's eyes fluttered shut, and she collapsed into Qiao Xixi's arms.
"Tata! Tata, wake up, Tata!" Gu Man desperately called out to him, but Tata still showed no reaction.
