Sangze transformed into his beast form and carried Qiao Xixi, darting swiftly through the trees.
The Golden Eagle Beasts followed them all the way to the other side of the island.
Sangze set Qiao Xixi down at the base of a tree. "Little female, take out that monstrous vine of yours and plant it."
"What on earth are you planning?"
Despite her words, Qiao Xixi took out the Long-tongued Vine and buried it at the base of the tree. In the blink of an eye, the vine grew at a frantic pace, and Sangze leaped to its very top.
"Little female, make it grow up to the sky."
Qiao Xixi craned her neck, frowning as she looked at the height that seemed to soar into the clouds.
"Be careful."
The Golden Eagle Beasts weren't flying very high, trying to get a clear view of the island. Soon, Sangze reached their altitude.
A Golden Eagle Beast sensed the threat, flapping its wings and charging toward Sangze.
