Mia Grant returned to campus but didn't rush back to her dorm. Instead, she lingered downstairs for a long time.
Once she was sure none of Silas Grant's men were around, she quickly slipped upstairs.
"Hey, Kitty, you're finally back!" Her roommate saw her and immediately asked where she had been all day and why she'd missed class.
"Ah, something came up with my brother, so I was at the hospital with him."
Mia Grant closed the door and handed them the milk tea she had brought.
"Kitty, you're the best! You always bring us treats when you come back!"
"It was on the way." Mia Grant smiled, pulling her pajamas out of her locker and casually asking, "Did anything happen at school today?"
"Yes, yes, yes!"
