BOOM—!!!
The deafening explosion made the entire factory floor tremble violently.
Smoke and dust filled the air.
But as the smoke and dust slowly dissipated, a data fluctuation akin to "confusion" appeared for the first time on the two Intelligent Mechanisms' mirror-like faces.
At the heart of the explosion, Lin Ye still hovered silently in place, completely unharmed.
A massive, hexagonal energy shield, as black as ink and seemingly capable of devouring all light, protected him securely within.
However, the once-solid shield had now dimmed considerably, and several distinct cracks had even appeared on its surface.
"Have your kin fall back."
Lin Ye ordered Ah Qiang without turning his head.
Ah Qiang understood immediately, and his remaining minions quickly retreated.
The battle to come was no longer one they could interfere in.
"Analysis module... error."
"Target has used our race's Class-A authorized ability... Energy Shield."
