THUD!
As the red cloth ball hit the ground, the Chongzhen Temple disciple immediately repeated his old trick, activating a Blazing Sun Talisman.
This time, however, he even summoned a Blazing Sun Spirit Shield to protect himself.
It was clearly meant to counter the Golden Blade Secret Technique that Zhang Shouquan had revealed earlier.
Under such a disadvantage, the outcome of the battle was almost completely one-sided.
However, Zhang Shouquan stubbornly held his ground and refused to back down.
Even when his Magic Robe was torn and Sword Qi slashed his left arm, he persisted, maneuvering around the arena.
"Give up. Otherwise, my Flying Sword won't show any mercy!"
True to his word, the Chongzhen Temple disciple fully powered his Flying Sword and sent it in for the kill.
But in that moment between Life and Death, Zhang Shouquan's entire demeanor changed. His speed suddenly increased by a third, and he easily dodged the Sword Qi.
