The air temperature plummeted as if on a roller coaster. Moments later, fine snowflakes began to drift down over the sea.
'Do A-rank sea beasts really come with special effects?'
Shi Ming grumbled to himself.
It was the height of summer, after all. Even in these northern waters, snow was an unbelievable, almost bizarre phenomenon.
"Captain, the unidentified sea beast is less than five nautical miles away."
"Four nautical miles..."
"All hands, back to your cabins! Stone Pillar, take them and the *Dayun* and fall back three nautical miles."
The crew would be no help in a battle against an A-rank sea beast. The best they could do was monitor the surrounding waters for anomalies from a safe distance and provide logistical support.
With his blade in his right hand, Shi Ming extended his left and caught a falling snowflake.
'It's been a long time since I've seen snow.'
