Outside Artifact Talisman City, a group of over a hundred Cultivators was relentlessly attacking a mountain gate. The multi-colored sheen of several hundred spells and Talismans struck the Mountain Protection Array, creating ripples that were surprisingly beautiful to behold.
The few Cultivators in the lead were all at the Foundation Establishment Stage. As they attacked, they shouted threats:
"Listen up in there! The brothers are only here for your wealth this time, not to hurt anyone. If you know what's good for you, disable the great Array and hand over your Spirit Stones and valuables. Otherwise, once we break through this Array, we'll slaughter every last one of you!"
Inside the mountain gate, another group of Cultivators struggled to hold on. They stood at their posts, feeding one Spirit Stone after another into the Array Talisman Discs. From time to time, they would cast spells that shot through the Array, blasting toward the Cultivators outside.
