Allen stood before a row of specially made, constant-temperature preservation containers. Dozens of "resonance crystal cores" floated quietly in the nutrient solution, emitting a faint blue glow like profound stars.
His thinking had long since shifted from microscopic technical analysis to the macroscopic strategic level.
This creature, non-existent in the Wizard's bestiary, was in itself a massive intelligence hazard. Once the Talismanic Replication project for the resonance crystal core technology succeeded, it would become the sharpest spear and the sturdiest shield in his Celestial Net system.
But before then, the source of this technology, the Abyss Rays, could also become his Achilles' heel.
If he could discover it, other Wizards naturally could as well. Especially in this world where strength reigned supreme, there were only two kinds of secrets—those that had been leaked, and those that never would be.
He chose the latter.
