Victor walked in front.
Li Wei followed two paces behind, remaining vigilant and ready to fight at a moment's notice.
Victor asked, "I hear you're a member of the Elemental Tower's Hall of Truth?"
Li Wei was a bit surprised. He hadn't expected Victor to ask about that.
He replied, "Yes, but I just do odd jobs at the Hall of Truth. Nothing important."
Victor chuckled. "Grand Mage Li Wei, don't be so modest. The Sunshine Research Laboratory within the Hall of Truth collaborates with the Space Tower. I'm well aware of the role you play in the Sunshine Research Laboratory."
Li Wei felt a little awkward. He hadn't realized Victor knew everything.
He was also surprised that for research as important as Sunshine, the Elemental Tower would actually collaborate with an outside power.
But on second thought, it wasn't so strange.
Sunshine came from the Sun in the Star Realm.
It seemed no one was better suited to travel to the Star Realm and collect Sunshine than a Space Mage.
