When a Pet Beast evolves from Zero-star to One-star, it must undergo a physical transformation by condensing a Pet Beast Inner Core. This elevates its life form to a whole new level, a process known as "Solidifying Pill."
And when a Pet Beast evolves from One-star to Two-star, the method is no longer about laying a foundation. Instead, the original Inner Core is split into two, creating a Two-star Pet Beast.
By the same logic, evolving to Three-star is the same. Based on the two existing Inner Cores, another is split off, forming three Inner Cores and thus creating a Three-star Pet Beast.
Subsequent evolutions to Four-star, Five-star, and even Six-star all follow this same principle.
