"We were waiting for you."

Li Jinshu asked in confusion, "He didn't come home tonight?"
"No," Su Mu said. "I thought you two were together."
"No, we went our separate ways at the gym entrance a little after 5 PM. I haven't seen him since."
Li Jinshu turned to Yu Xuan and asked, "You don't know where your boss went either?"
"I don't know. My boss didn't tell me."
Su Mu stopped worrying about Xu Yun and asked curiously, "So what did you do tonight?"
"I treated the gym employees to dinner, and then we went to karaoke for a bit."
"Why would you treat the gym staff to dinner out of the blue?"
