Xu Yun went to meet her, expecting a private date.
But when he got there, he was dumbfounded. It was a crowd!
"Hey, handsome," everyone greeted him warmly.
"Hello."
Xu Yun sat down beside Song Xiaowei, confused. "What's going on?" he asked.
"Something unexpected came up."
Song Xiaowei said awkwardly, "They're my classmates from the acting department. I ran into them, and when they heard I got the job at the TV station, they insisted on celebrating with me."
Xu Yun was speechless.
'It's just dinner,' he thought. 'A few more people just makes it livelier.'
'Besides, they were all beautiful college girls.'
"Xiaowei, and here we were wondering why you didn't want to eat with us. Turns out you had a date with a handsome guy," one of the girls teased, eyeing Xu Yun, who was both handsome and carried himself well. "Aren't you going to introduce us?"
"I'm Xu Yun."
Xu Yun introduced himself. "I'm a friend of Xiaowei's."
"You mean boyfriend, right?"
