Lin Wanzhou's comrade must have been very cautious, because he gave the plane an extremely thorough inspection.
It took him a full three hours to go over the entire aircraft.
In the salesperson's words—
"Man, you inspected everything short of taking our engine apart."
But he was a true professional and found quite a few problems.
The salesperson was completely stunned.
If the buyer were to back out of the sale, he'd be in hot water with his superiors.
But thankfully, he added that while a price reduction was advisable, the plane's underlying quality was sound and wouldn't affect its normal, safe operation.
The salesperson, Xu Yun, and the intermediary, Jian Shiwai, all breathed a collective sigh of relief upon hearing this.
The salesperson was worried about his sales quota, while Jian Shiwai was afraid Xu Yun would think he had handled things poorly.
As for Xu Yun, he just hated hassles.
