"Oh?"
Xu Yun looked at Gu Heng and asked, "What can I do for you, President Gu? If it's something I can help with, I certainly will."
Gu Heng was speechless.
'How the tables have turned.'
'A mere clerk from his company had, in the blink of an eye, become someone he had to suck up to.'
'But when you're in a bind, you have to bow to circumstances.'
'If he couldn't get his cash flow back on track, his company would be completely wiped out.'
'And there wasn't enough time to get a loan from another bank.'
He took a deep breath and said in a much more amicable tone, "President Xu, I hope you can go easy on me with the bank loan. Please, cut me some slack."
"You must be joking, President Gu. It's not like I own the bank. I can't interfere with them."
"But you can influence them."
Gu Heng sounded resigned. "If they weren't afraid of offending you, they wouldn't be holding up my loan."
Although he had no idea why the bank was afraid of offending Xu Yun.
