Su Mu's cooking couldn't compare to Ning Qian's, but it had its own unique charm.
Just like how every woman has her own distinct flavor.
Halfway through the meal, Xu Yun's phone rang. This time, it wasn't another woman, but his university teacher, Teacher Wu Jinyan.
"Hello, Teacher Wu."
"Xu Yun."
On the phone, Wu Jinyan was quite polite. "I'm not disturbing you, am I?"
"Not at all, not at all."
Xu Yun smiled. "If there's anything you need, Teacher, just let me know."
"You silly boy, what are you talking about?"
Wu Jinyan laughed and asked, "I just wanted to ask if you're free tonight. I'd like to invite you over for a simple meal and also talk about the progress on the scholarship."
"Of course I'm free. If you're asking, Teacher, I'll always have time."
Xu Yun replied, "Could you please send me the address later, Teacher? I'll definitely be there on time tonight to mooch a meal."
"Good, good. In that case, I'll be waiting for you."
