Renee Jennings looked at Fisher, her bright eyes filled with sincerity. "Yes, Becky wants to go downstairs to play."
Fisher's eyes widened in realization as she nodded. "No wonder Becky kept biting my pant leg and standing by the door. So that's what it wanted—to go downstairs and play."
She rubbed Becky's head and smiled. "Okay, I'll take you down for a little walk in a bit."
"Don't wait," Renee Jennings said, her tone lighthearted. "You should grant your furry baby's every wish. Take it downstairs to play right now."
