Faced with the accusations, Carson Larkin grew incredibly anxious, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
His shifty eyes darted between the three girls. He frowned and said, "It's not what you think. There's been a misunderstanding."
"What misunderstanding?" Wendy Griffin stared at him, her tone icy. "We're getting married in two weeks, and now you're suddenly some other girl's boyfriend?"
"Wendy, Jenny and I actually broke up a long time ago," Carson Larkin explained. "She's been harassing me. She won't leave me alone."
Hearing this, Jenny exploded with rage. She slapped Carson Larkin hard across the face. "What kind of bullshit is that? Me, harassing you? Have you no shame?"
