"That's enough!" SizzlingPork said impatiently. "Looks like you don't want this job anymore. Pack your things and get out."
With that, she tapped her phone a few times. "I've sent your pay to your Alipay account."
She turned away, muttering, "A little thief who dares to talk back. So annoying."
Zane clenched her fists, her voice thick with unshed tears. "I'm not a thief! The one who stole was your daughter!"
"What did you just say?" SizzlingPork whipped her head around to glare at her, her eyes vicious. "You're spouting nonsense. Believe it or not, I'll tear that filthy mouth of yours right off."
Mustering courage from who-knows-where, Zane raised her voice and shouted, "I didn't steal your things! Your daughter did!"
