Riley Perry smiled and handed the redemption card to Victoria Koenig. "Go trade this for water and instant noodles. Did you bring a lunch box?"
"No."
"Then trade for a lunch box and a pot, too. I'll go deal with this chicken."
"Okay, okay, I'm on it."
A fire was soon burning at their campsite. The old hen had been butchered, with the breast meat set aside to be boiled in the pot and the rest put on to roast. About forty minutes later, the rich aroma of cooked meat wafted through the woods.
"It smells so good! Thank goodness Ria brought a lighter. Otherwise, we'd be stuck eating dry instant noodles."
Riley Perry took out the seasonings and sprinkled them evenly over the chicken. "It's a shame we don't have any honey. The flavor will be missing something."
