Ma Changxing froze, subconsciously looking around.
The corridor was still empty, filled only with the acrid stench of gunpowder and blood.

A jolt went through Ma Changxing. He spun around abruptly but saw nothing.
Only the air at the far end of the corridor shimmered slightly.

「Main Engine Power Room.」
Five Phantom Guards had already breached the outer defenses and were preparing to destroy the massive energy conduits.
Once this place was destroyed, the entire "Celestial Whale" transport ship would lose all power, becoming an iron coffin floating in the sky. Even with all of Ye Jinghong's divine might, he would still be smashed to a pulp in the fall.
