A second and third Scorching Beast clambered over their companion's corpse and charged in!
With a mere thought from Murphy, the Flying Sword sliced through the air in a vicious arc!

Two grotesque heads shot into the air as foul, dark-red blood fountained from the severed necks, splattering against the rock walls with a corrosive SIZZLE.
The headless bodies staggered forward a few more steps before collapsing to the ground.
More monsters swarmed in!
It wasn't just Scorching Beasts. Slender monsters that spat highly acidic mucus also appeared, hiding in the rear and spewing streams of foul-smelling green ooze at Murphy!
Murphy moved like a phantom, dodging and weaving within the narrow space. Wherever the ooze landed, it corroded the rock, leaving behind smoking green pits.
