The girl ignored the boy's confusion.
She tilted her head, her long, flaxen hair slipping from her shoulders. "Oh, right, what's your name?"
The boy looked at her and replied calmly, "Shouldn't you give your own name before asking for someone else's?"
The girl raised an eyebrow, seemingly finding his retort interesting. Her lips curled into a slight smile. "Cheris. Cheris Douglas. Now, your turn."
"My name is..." the boy began to say.
A slender index finger suddenly reached out, the cool tip of the Black Armor pressing gently against his lips.
The sweet smile on Cheris's face remained, but a dangerous light glinted in her eyes. "Wait a second~ I have [Detect Lies] active."
She leaned closer, her breath carrying a faint, sweet scent. "Don't lie to me. If you lie to me, you'll lose your value. And I have no pity for worthless toys..."
