The sharp-eyed supervisor was the first to notice Alonso's movement.
Or rather, to him, a non-Imperial person like Alonso was nothing more than filth.
Filth he didn't want to see, yet filth that stubbornly existed.
Thus, Alonso's every move was exceptionally conspicuous in the supervisor's eyes.
Or, more precisely, exceptionally jarring.
Even straying half a step from his post would be caught by the supervisor instantly.
To say nothing of now, when Alonso was striding forward, heading toward the two distinguished guests.
The supervisor's expression changed in an instant.
'I can't let him disturb the guests.'
'Absolutely not.'
If that lowly creature from the Outer Plane, Alonso, caused Lady Douglas and Mr. Melfield any displeasure, his career as a supervisor would be over.
He shot Alonso a look.
It was a fierce and sharp glare, filled with an undisguised warning.
'Stay put!'
'Get back!'
'Or you'll be sorry!'
