Demo Did pursed his lips. Obviously, he didn't believe a word of it.
Seeing this, Fang Chenyi just shook his head and smiled. 'People these days… you tell them the truth and they'll never believe you.'
Suddenly, Fang Chenyi thought of something, and a playful smile crept onto his lips.
'This guy next to me is a total fat sheep. Now that he's served himself up on a platter, wouldn't it be a complete waste of an opportunity not to fleece him?'
Even though he'd gotten a plane, Fang Chenyi wasn't satisfied.
With that in mind, he turned to Demo Did and said:
"Hey, Old Di, you came all this way. I'd feel bad if you left empty-handed. How about this? Even though you can't take the plane, I have something else in my possession that's pretty amazing. I guarantee if you take it back home and drive it across the vast desert, it'll give you some serious cred."
Sure enough, Demo Did's interest was immediately piqued. He stared at Fang Chenyi with anticipation.
