Dean Zhu was eating crab roe noodles with his wife.
His wife took another taste of the young woman's cooking, a satisfied expression appearing on both professors' faces. "You should invite that student of yours to the house sometime."
"We've eaten her food so many times, but we've never formally met."
"That's because you're too busy," Dean Zhu glanced at her. "By the time you get home, she's already gone back to her dorm to rest."
"Then pick a day off. I'll come home early."
"I never would have guessed that after all these years, it wouldn't be me to get you to put down your work." Dean Zhu put on a peculiar, aggrieved-husband expression. "But my student."
He looked at his wife.
His wife: ...
"Oh, stop it. Who do you think you are, a young man? You're old now." His wife rolled her eyes. "That expression just looks ugly on you."
"Youth fades so fast. Now even my dear wife is calling me ugly."
His wife couldn't help but laugh.
Seeing her laugh, Dean Zhu laughed too.
