"I'll take twenty meat buns," Yuan Si said, starting to dig money out of her pocket.
"Twenty?" The man in the white coat couldn't quite believe it. 'Whose spoiled kid is this? Eating meat buns like a whole meal... Twenty, just like that? She can't be serious.' The man was skeptical, so he didn't move.
"That's right, all meat filling." Yuan Si wasn't a big fan of vegetables. Eating them once in a while for a change of pace was fine, but she was primarily a carnivore.
She pulled out the five-some-odd yuan she had just earned from selling her braids and counted out two yuan. She stuffed the rest back into her pocket, then pulled a few grain ration coupons from another. She glanced at their denominations. Since it was her first time using them, she wasn't very familiar with them and had to search for a moment before finding a one-jin coupon.
