An Ning loaded the two computers into the trunk. The store owner who had followed her out took the handcart back from her.
Even now, the owner was still trying to figure out how he'd just sold two computers. It had all happened so fast; he felt like he hadn't said a single word.
"I'm off, boss."
"Oh—goodbye."
An Ning nodded to the owner, started the car, and drove away.
An Ning drove the car back to the courtyard house. After packing her luggage, she headed to An Guoming's place first.
Their homes were close, so An Ning just rode her small electric scooter over.
The alley was bustling with street vendors, many people on electric scooters, and a few parked cars.
An Ning wasn't going fast, just cruising along slowly. Only when the alley widened a bit did she twist the throttle a little more to speed up.
It all happened in an instant. A black sedan right in front of An Ning suddenly swung its door open.
