She glanced at Bianca, and with his encouragement, Jane Sterling finally opened the Ghost-Binding Bag.
In an instant, a few faint souls flew out and materialized in the air.
"Go on. Go where you're supposed to go."
Jane Sterling addressed the ghosts before her. Among them was her grandmother, whose aged spirit hovered quietly nearby, gazing at her with deep affection.
Gazing at that familiar face, Jane Sterling couldn't help but feel her eyes moisten.
"Grandma, you have to take care of yourself. Try to get reincarnated soon. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine!"
Knowing what her grandmother worried about most, Jane Sterling said it all in one breath before the spirit could speak, then stubbornly wiped her tears away.
The aged figure gave a kind smile, nodded, and was the first to fly into the dark void.
Then, Jane Sterling turned toward the ghosts of the children she had met at the orphanage.
"Goodbye! Thank you!"
