Several men scrambled to drag the still-warm corpse away.
Black Panther slammed a fist against a nearby wall. Then, for reasons unknown, the corner of his mouth curved into a nonchalant smile.
"Interesting. To think she could escape right from under my nose. It seems I didn't misjudge her after all."
"Boss! Boss! We have a problem!"
A man came running over, his expression frantic. Black Panther's gaze swept over him, instantly turning ice-cold. The man froze on the spot, trembling in fear.
"This had better be important."
The man swallowed hard and said frantically,
"Boss, the cops are here!"
Black Panther frowned, then let out a sharp, angry laugh.
"So the woman really does have a few tricks up her sleeve. She even managed to bring the cops here."
As he thought this, Black Panther tucked his Colt into his waistband.
"Tell everyone to pull out."
"Yes, sir!"
