"Zheng Wenhao, get up!"
After paying the bar tab, Xu Shengxia was so angry she smacked him on the back with her purse.
Zheng Wenhao was sprawled on the bar, completely still, as if sound asleep.
Xu Shengxia put her hands on her hips and fumed in silence for a moment.
In the end, she resignedly propped him up by the arm and staggered outside with him.
...
"Zheng Wenhao, where to? Tell me the address, and I'll drive you home."
In her sports car, with the air conditioning running, Xu Shengxia asked the man slumped in the passenger seat.
Zheng Wenhao barely lifted his eyelids, his brow furrowing in discomfort as he managed to get the words out:
"Tangren Apartment, 168 Jinying Road, in University City."
'An apartment... Obviously not the Ji Family residence.'
But Xu Shengxia couldn't be bothered to pry into why he wasn't going to his grandfather's house. She just pressed her lips together, put on the GPS, and started driving toward Tangren Apartment.
