Chapter 20 - Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez {1989 Tour} - Part 1
The next city was Philadelphia.
Two days after the Madison Square Garden show, the whole production machine rolled into the Wells Fargo Center. Osiah had ridden the tour bus overnight with the core crew, catching a few hours of sleep in one of the bunks while the highway hummed underneath. Taylor had taken a short private flight and arrived early morning, already in rehearsal clothes by the time he walked into the arena. The building had that same controlled chaos as New York—cables everywhere, dancers stretching on the floor, lighting techs arguing over cue lists—but the energy felt tighter, more focused. Everyone knew the East Coast leg was the one the press watched hardest. The air smelled like stage fog, sweat, and the metallic tang of fresh-rigged lights.
Osiah spent the first half of the day fixing the same problems he always fixed. A lighting cue that was half a beat late on the big drop during the second number. A quick-change rack that blocked the dancers' exit path and made the whole transition feel rushed. A wireless pack that kept cutting out on one of the backup vocalists every time she hit a high note. He moved through it all with the same efficiency Taylor had come to expect. Crew members started looking for him when something went wrong. One of the stage managers clapped him on the shoulder after he fixed the rack and said, "You're making the rest of us look bad, man." Osiah just nodded and kept moving.
Around mid-afternoon, during a short break between full run-throughs, Taylor found him near the side of the stage. She was still in her black sports bra and tight leggings, skin glowing with a light sheen of sweat from the last number. Her ponytail was a little messy, a few strands stuck to the back of her neck. The sports bra clung to her perky tits, the fabric damp between them. The leggings hugged every line of her long, toned legs and the firm, round curve of her ass. She looked like she'd been working hard and loving every second of it.
She didn't say anything at first. She just walked straight up to him, hooked two fingers into the front of his jeans, and tugged him toward a narrow service hallway that led to an unused equipment closet. Her touch was deliberate. Osiah followed without argument. Once the door shut behind them and the latch clicked, she pushed him back against the wall hard enough that his shoulders hit the cool concrete. Then she dropped to her knees right there on the dusty floor.
"Been thinking about this since we left New York," she said, already working his belt open with both hands. Her voice was low and a little rough from singing. "You've been running around fixing everything like it's nothing. Figured you deserved a proper thank-you. I've been watching you all morning and my pussy's been aching."
Osiah looked down at her. The dim light from the single overhead bulb caught the sweat on her collarbone and the way her tits rose and fell with her breathing. "We've got twelve minutes before the next run."
"Then I'd better not waste any of them." She got his jeans open and pulled his cock out. He was already half-hard from the way she'd been looking at him all morning—those quick glances from the stage, the little smiles. The second her warm hand wrapped around him, he thickened fully in her grip. Taylor made a soft, appreciative sound.
She licked a slow, wet stripe from the base to the tip, tongue flat and hot, then opened her mouth and took him in deep on the first try. Her lipstick left a perfect pink ring around the middle of his shaft. She pulled off with a wet sound, looked up at him through her lashes, and did it again—deeper this time—leaving another mark higher up. Her cheeks hollowed as she sucked.

"Fuck—okay—okay—" she panted, voice wrecked. "I can't—too much—"
He eased his fingers out slowly. She stayed bent over the cases for a few more seconds, breathing hard, legs unsteady, leggings still tangled around her thighs. When she finally straightened up her face was flushed dark, eyes glassy, lipstick completely ruined. A thin sheen of sweat shone on her chest and the tops of her tits.
They cleaned up fast. Taylor grabbed a tissue from a nearby box and did what she could with her mouth, wiping away the worst of the smeared lipstick and spit. She pulled her leggings and panties back into place, smoothed the sports bra, and checked her reflection in the dark glass of an equipment case. Her face was still flushed and her eyes a little too bright, but she looked mostly put-together again.
"Twelve minutes on the nose," she said, turning to him with a crooked grin. "You're a terrible influence."
"You started it."
"And I'll finish it later." She stepped in, kissed him once then slipped out of the closet first, ponytail swinging behind her.
Osiah waited a full thirty seconds, giving her time to disappear into the flow of crew traffic. He adjusted himself in his jeans, smoothed his shirt, and stepped back into the empty hallway. The low thump of the band warming up again drifted from the stage, along with the distant sound of dancers counting off a formation. He walked back toward the main floor like nothing had happened.
The rest of the afternoon rehearsal went smoother than expected. Taylor hit every mark like the previous twelve minutes in the closet had never occurred. Her voice came through strong and clear on the monitors. Her body stayed sharp and precise through the choreography—long legs powering the turns, ass popping cleanly with the beats, tits shifting inside the black sports bra as she hit the sharper moves. Sweat still glowed on her skin under the stage lights. But every time she glanced toward the wings and found him watching, there was a private little spark in her eyes. Something still heated. Something still satisfied. Something that said she was already thinking about later.
Osiah kept fixing the small things that cropped up. Another lighting cue needed tightening on the transition into the bridge. A dancer on the left side kept drifting out of formation by half a step. A cable near the drum riser was starting to fray and needed to be swapped before soundcheck proper. He handled each issue quietly. The crew treated him like he'd always been part of the machine—quick nods, short thanks, the occasional clap on the shoulder when something locked in perfectly.
Near the end of the day, Taylor's assistant found him near the monitor board and said the VIP bus tour was happening in twenty minutes. A small group of fans who'd won a contest would get a full walkthrough of the tour buses with Taylor herself. Osiah finished the cable swap, wiped his hands, and headed outside.
Taylor was already waiting by the buses when he arrived. She had changed into a soft oversized sweater and dark leggings, hair down now and still a little damp at the roots from the earlier sweat. She still looked a little flushed, like the orgasm in the closet hadn't fully left her system. When she saw him she smiled that same smile—the one that belonged only to him.
"You're coming on this one," she said quietly as he reached her. "I want you there in case anything technical comes up. Plus… I like knowing you're close."
"I'm here," he said.
The fans were already lined up near the first bus—eight people, mostly women in their twenties and thirties, a couple of younger teens with parents, all of them buzzing with nerves and excitement. A few held phones ready. One girl kept bouncing on her toes. Taylor turned on the full public charm the second they were in earshot.
"Hey, you guys," she said, bright and warm, waving them closer. "Ready to see where the magic actually happens when the lights go down? Come on, I'll show you everything."
She led them onto the main tour bus first. Osiah stayed a few steps behind, watching the way she moved. She was still a little careful with her steps, like her body was remembering the way his fingers had been inside her an hour ago—how hard she'd come, how wet she'd been. The oversized sweater hid most of her figure, but the leggings still showed the long line of her legs and the curve of her ass when she climbed the steps.
Inside, she showed them the lounge area first—the long couches, the small kitchenette, the table where the band sometimes ate late at night. She laughed at their questions and answered every single one like she had all the time in the world.
"Does it ever feel like home?" one woman asked.
Taylor tilted her head, considering. "Some nights, yeah. When the show's been good and everyone's tired in the best way. Other nights it just feels like a really nice bus." She glanced at Osiah for half a second, eyes warm. "But the people make it better."
She moved them through the bunks next, pointing out whose was whose, making a joke about the snoring hierarchy. The fans ate it up. Osiah stayed quiet, only speaking when someone asked a technical question about power or storage. Every time the group shifted positions in the narrow aisle, Taylor's body brushed against his—shoulder, hip, the back of her hand. Once, when the fans were distracted looking at a rack of jackets, she leaned in close enough that only he could hear.
"Still wet," she whispered. "Just so you know. I've been like this since the closet."
Osiah didn't answer out loud. He just let his hand rest lightly at the small of her back for a second as they moved toward the door, thumb brushing the soft fabric of her sweater.
She kept the tour moving, leading them onto the wardrobe bus next. Racks of costumes lined both sides—sparkly bodysuits, boots, jackets, the whole evolving armor of the show. Taylor let them look but not touch, explaining how quick the changes had to be and how the team made the impossible look easy. Then she took them to the production bus, where the real work happened—monitors, spare cables, the controlled mess of a tour on the move. Osiah answered a couple of questions about the lighting board when Taylor looked at him in quiet invitation.
The whole tour lasted almost forty minutes. Taylor never once looked rushed or bored. She posed for photos, signed a couple of things, listened to one nervous girl tell her how much a particular song had meant during a hard year. By the time the fans left—glowing, thanking her over and over, a few of them tearing up—she looked genuinely happy.
The second the last person was gone and the bus doors shut, though, she exhaled and leaned against the side of the vehicle. The public brightness softened into something more private.
"That was fun," she said, tipping her head back against the metal of the bus. "Also torture. My body's still buzzing from earlier. I can still feel your fingers. I need you tonight. Properly. Not a closet. Not twelve minutes. I want time."
Osiah nodded, stepping closer until the toes of his boots nearly touched hers. "You'll have me."
She smiled, softer this time, and reached out to brush her fingers against his wrist, lingering there for a second. "Good. Because after the show… I've got something to tell you. Something I think you're going to like."
She didn't explain further. She just pushed off the bus, stretched her arms over her head—sweater riding up just enough to show a strip of smooth skin above her leggings—and headed back toward the arena with one last glance over her shoulder to make sure he was following.
