Chapter 116 - Chapter 118: Be My Chosen Champion

"Hope, love, hate—these are all synonyms for desire. Because mortals value them most highly, we lead them down the path to Paradise Lost."

The earth trembled in revulsion, the sky took on the bruised hue of a hematoma, and the air was torn apart by terrified screams and delirious ecstasy.

But these were merely the aftershocks of such a magnificent entity's descent. Kenmei Isayama was so awestruck by this terrifying power that he couldn't breathe, and his head felt like it was splitting open.

Initially, the laughter ringing in his ears sounded like that of a young girl. But as it continued, the laughter became increasingly manic and terrifying. His brain felt like it was about to explode from the sudden, piercing shrieks.

After experiencing a washing-machine-like spin that turned his world upside down countless times, Kenmei fell into endless darkness and lost consciousness.

When he woke up from his coma, Kenmei found himself lying on an exceptionally soft carpet. The unbelievably gentle touch and the snug fit against his body gave him the feeling that he "wouldn't want to get up from here even if he died."

This spacious room was ridiculously large, blending unimaginable luxury with a classical artistic atmosphere. Various exquisite character sculptures and vintage paintings, clearly the works of masters, served as decorations.

Exquisite carpets with various patterns covered the floor, and a pleasant fragrance permeated the air of the corridor and room, relaxing the mind.

However, Kenmei struggled to prop himself up. Lacking any sense of security, he hadn't forgotten the scene just now where he almost "died young."

So, the first thing he did was call upon the [Warhammer Simulator]. However, what puzzled Kenmei was that the overwhelming alarms from before were nowhere to be found. Not a single notification remained, as if everything just now had been a terrifying nightmare.

No matter how many times Kenmei refreshed the [Warhammer Simulator], he couldn't see the earlier [Warning] notifications.

Kenmei clearly remembered the last message, those large, bloody words:

[WARNING! Please stop the simulation immediately.]

"What on earth is going on?"

Having gone through an unprecedented experience, Kenmei was utterly confused and full of questions. Where was he now?

Why did he appear in this extremely luxurious room?

However, there was one thing Kenmei could confirm: until any other danger appeared, this place was temporarily safe.

Before Kenmei could heave a sigh of relief, a second voice that didn't belong to him appeared in the room, instantly raising his vigilance and causing his heart to tremble violently.

"Hmm? You're finally awake?"

This voice was full of allure yet filled with dissonance. It sounded a bit like the voice of a holy Saint of the Ecclesiarchy mixed with that of a filthy Chaos Daemon. Although the two should have absolutely no connection, they appeared simultaneously. This strange, muddy voice chilled Kenmei to the bone.

And it was at this moment that Kenmei suddenly felt an extremely intense, terrifying palpitation of being watched by an existence higher than life and soul.

He jerked his head up and saw a woman sitting at a simple white round table. Above her hung a ridiculously large chandelier composed of six massive crystal branches. Under the illumination of the gems, the lights flickered and shone upon her, looking extremely magnificent and dazzling.

If one looked only at her appearance, she was absolutely a woman who would incite jealousy and hatred in all other women in the world, for her existence would make their beauty pale in comparison.

In a word, she was heaven's favorite. Any beautiful thing could be embodied in her; one could even say the word "beauty" was the most essential and figurative expression of her.

Her figure was graceful, radiating fatal temptation with every gesture, even while just sitting there.

Her pink pupils held a gentle and profound gaze. Set against her exquisite face, her tender, water-like eyes appeared extremely moist.

Her elegant demeanor and, most importantly, that artistic, classical temperament were filled with a nobility that drove people mad with desire.

This woman with cascading purple hair wore a black, off-shoulder silk dress. A pair of ruby earrings swayed gently by her ears. Her tender white skin, shining like milk and flawless as velvet, formed a sharp contrast with the pure black dress. The magnificent cleavage on her chest was deeper than the galaxy.

The fabric of the woman's dress was very thin, faintly revealing the two slender legs hidden beneath.

Such thin clothing could hardly conceal her seductive figure. The slightly tight fit perfectly displayed her curves, making her charm even more irresistible.

If one looked only at her appearance, this woman was definitely top-tier. But Kenmei wore an expression as if he had seen a ghost. In his eyes, that wasn't some ravishing beauty; it was clearly a terrifying Daemon.

Her rank was extremely high. Kenmei even saw the Warp twisting into indescribable monstrosities by her side. Beside that smooth black gauze, many Warp Daemons emitting terrifying auras flanked her left and right. He could even see terrifying wraiths and Daemons dancing around her.

This scene truly blended sanctity and depravity together. Kenmei's heart was in his throat.

In Macarnos Elfman's career as an Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus, he had never seen such a terrifying existence. It transcended the common sense of the world.

This woman with a noble temperament sat in her chair, giving the illusion of seduction. She coughed, and that muddy voice instantly became melodious and pleasant.

She spoke in a magnetic voice:

"Apologies. I haven't spoken in human language for a long time."

But when she saw Kenmei's guarded appearance, she laughed so hard she trembled like a flower branch.

"Don't be so uptight, little one. Come here, sit in front of me."

The woman spoke in a reproachful tone:

"I modeled this body according to your preferences. Why be so guarded?"

She lifted her hands, cupping them together and then releasing. The elasticity of that squeeze and release was truly boing-boing like jelly.

Heh. If the situation weren't stronger than the person...

Kenmei would definitely have hit her with a triple denial:

"I'm not, you're talking nonsense, I didn't."

"Besides, you should understand—if I wanted to do something to you, do you think you'd have any room to resist?"

Stared at by those pink pupils, Kenmei felt immense pressure.

He had no choice but to walk silently to the woman's side and sit in the empty chair opposite her.

A carpet made of unknown animal fur covered the floor. Shining silver cutlery, candles, and gorgeous flowers were arranged neatly on the dining table.

"I took a liking to you at first sight. You give me the feeling of my own child."

Looking at Kenmei close at hand, the bad woman smiled enchantingly and said:

"Be my Chaos Champion. I will agree to any condition."

Her tone was somewhat sad:

"Although you are very weak right now—so weak that I can only meet you with a projection weakened tens of thousands of times."

"But I will have my strongest warrior teach and guide you in martial arts."

"Yes, that's right. The son of your Imperium's Emperor."
