There was a moment of silence.
Laito spoke in an attempt to get himself a moment of quiet.
He succeeded.
For a moment.
Then he was pulled into an emotional "reunion" moment with his father who took good care of his body while Laito was "out".
Laito knew he should feel relieved and happy with meeting again with his last family member.
The thing was: he did… but not completely.
He felt… wierd.
Which worried him to no end.
'Is my Flaw acting up already?' Laito asked himself the rhetorical question, while pretending to listen to doctor's yaps.
The answer was obvious: yes.
Laito remembers caring for his family, for people, for his world…
Now?
It was complicated.
He still cared… somewhat…
It was still difficult to place it all up.
Love is, after all, a very complicated feeling.
His Flaw suddenly cut off his "love" for most things and people… even if Laito himself didn't realize he had that in some examples.
Laito needed time to sort this stuff in his head.
And he felt it likely was one of the most pressing matters for him at the moment.
He was afraid that if he didn't develop some circumventing mechanisms, like Sunny did with learning speaking half-truths, then he would turn into a heartless, possibly mindless monster.
So Laito asked the doctor kindly to shush himself, with the pretext of "being tired and quite overwhelmed".
There wasn't anything accurate or interesting in what he was saying anyways… and thankfully nobody was asking Laito any problematic questions. Yet.
Laito closed his eyes and inspected his mind.
The memories and feelings within them haven't changed.
These memories were, after all, already a "part of him".
'Good. At least I still have a clue to work with.' He was glad that he found a lead.
'I can still love… if it's towards myself… or something that's a part of me… I wonder how it will work if one day I'll develop my Domain… I remember Supreme Mordred turning anything in his Domain into shards of "himself"... but that was quite horrible. I would rather avoid doing something so drastic… if possible.'
Laito pondered possible solutions. Another good news he noticed was that, outside of love and love-sourced things, all other feelings and emotions were intact.
Gratefulness, admiration, respect, degrees of "familiarity".
It all was there.
He made a decision.
'For now I will try to "emulate" how I should feel and act, based on my memories. If my personality ends up changing… I guess that's just life… being a little selfish is not always a bad thing… right?' Laito asked himself, while redirecting his thoughts towards the future.
The lightbulb in the boy's body learned that he had less than three months before the date of Winter Solstice.
While he didn't know if that worked as he remembered, there was no harm in being prepared.
There was also another dull challenge ahead of him…
Middle-school.
And speaking about middle-school challanges…
'Wait. What's that itching?' He wondered for a moment and then widened his eyes with realization.
'Damn it. I am going through puberty… Again! That's why that nurse looked so hot No! I refuse to get distracted in such pivotal moments of my life!
-
'I'm glad that I have my dick back though.'
In the end, he got distracted.

[Yogami Household]{Next day}
'It was nice contacting Minoru. Thankfully my outlook on our friendship hasn't changed much… which means I didn't "loved" him much… well duh(I'm not gay).'
'Although there's still over a year until the time when we are allowed to take exams for UA, he is already hard at work in preparations.'
Laito was currently inside his ole good room.
Plotting, scheming and planning his own future… at least the parts he had control over.
He was allowed to leave the hospital very quickly after presenting his shockingly good health. Thanks to it being a private facility they didn't ask many questions, unlike what public ones would do.
Especially since Musutafu hospitals were potentially prowled by Garaki searching for good quirks to snatch for All-for-One.
Not that Laito was very afraid right now.
If push comes to shove, he discovered that he could just eject himself from the body he currently occupied at moment notice.
All-for-One quirk activated with touch. Laito's true form is incorporeal. He even was quite curious how it would all interact with each other, considering he no longer had a quirk, but a full blown Aspect.
But he also wasn't too eager to find out… yet.
Having new powers filled Laito with large amounts of confidance.
The diffirence was like heaven and earth in comparison to his previous shoelace tying quirk.
Which also begged the question of…
The explenations.
Laito had to decide what, how much and to whom tell about his current "circumstances".
The Nightmare Spell situation was a big deal.
Obviously his reincarnation would remain forever secret, it was almost always a bad idea to tell about that.
But the Spell was diffirent. It granted… and hopefully grant him even more powers.
The first person he wanted to talk with was obviously his dad.
Before his Nightmare Laito unconditionally trusted his father so much, that he would probably spilled the beans about every single detail…
Now?
Laito weighted the riskis. Calculated. What if someone captured and interofated him? His dad's quirk was also laughably weak. He couldn't protect himself.
On the other hand Laito felt himself getting slightly unneceserily paranoid.
In the end…
He spilled the beans…
Mostly.
Laito promised himself, after all, that he would be acting for now with his previous feelings in mind.
He avoided getting into more gruesome details… but the basic nature of Nightmare Spell… the Dream World… incoming Winter Solstice… Laito's new powers and possesions… lots of his expiriences.
Laito shared quite a lot.
That's also because he considered Yogami Tomio "quite cool and competend guy".
In the end, it saved Laito quite a lot of headache.
His father was anything but unsupporting.
After Laito casted some minor cantrips to prove his words, his dad believed him in strides.
They discissed how to solve Laito's social and school life in the coming time.
For now Laito was allowed to chose himself any Middle-school to transfer into.
He wasn't worried about curriculum, knew that no matter what he would pass. Especially once he Awakened, he would get major boost to his mental faculities.
What he needed the most was "elastic schedule" so that he could prepare himself for incoming challanges. And then returning from the Dream Realm fast enough to not miss entrence exams...
Yes. Because he still wanted to attend UA even though it was at this point quite rdundant for him to do so.
It was after all, once in lifetime occasion to live his fiction in real life.
But before that…
He had to visit graves of his deceased family members.
