Because now Yeongjae was above me, hovering, caging me in with his arms, looking at me like I was something he intended to devour completely.

“Did you have fun playing with me?” he asked, the corner of his mouth lifting in a dangerous smirk.

“I—I wasn’t playing with—”

“Shut up.”

Before I could react, his hand was on my jaw, holding me still as his mouth crashed into mine. His tongue swept inside, deep and claiming, stealing every ounce of control I thought I still had.

“Mmm—” I tried to protest, but the sound dissolved into a helpless moan when his body pressed closer.

I was already lost.

Before I could even adjust, he added another, curling them just the right angle while his thumb began rubbing tight circles.

The moment the words left my mouth, I knew I’d made a mistake.

“Then I guess I have work to do,” he said quietly. “I’ll just have to convince you.”

Before I could react, he shifted down the bed, his hands sliding along my thighs as he spread my legs apart.

“Yeongjae, wait, I haven’t—fu…”

"Then tell me Sora. Tell me what that secret is, unless you want to keep it from me, too," Yeongjae challenged as he pulled away.


I turned around and shook my head. "I would love, too. But then, it is not my secret to tell. You have to ask your grandparents for that. I think it is only fair for you to know everything since I assume that they want you to take Isaac's share from me and manage it yourself. 


Isaac told me that Clarke Larson is forbidden from handling any affairs in the company. It was a rule that your great-grandfather made because of Clarke's wrongdoings before.
