Section E wasn't supposed to notice her.
That was the whole point.
Jay moved through the school corridor like she always did—quiet, composed, just another student with her bag slung over one shoulder.
Nothing about her screamed danger.
Nothing about her hinted at power.
And yet—
Cin noticed first.
"Why is she leaving this late?"
Eren glanced up from his phone. "Who?"
Cin didn't answer immediately.
His eyes were fixed down the hallway.
"…Jay."
That was enough.
One by one, heads turned.
David leaned back in his chair. "So? People leave."
"No," Cin said quietly. "Not like that."
There was something off.
Not rushed.
Not casual.
Just… deliberate.
Eman stood up first.
"I'm going."
Denzel scoffed. "To follow her? That's creepy."
"And you're still coming," Eman replied without looking back.
Denzel clicked his tongue—but stood up anyway.
Josh stretched lazily. "Well, now I'm interested."
"Of course you are," Rory muttered, grabbing his jacket.
Edrix didn't say anything. He was already at the door.
Felix sighed. "This is a bad idea."
Kit grinned. "Exactly why we should do it."
Mayo just shook his head—but followed.
Within seconds—
Section E was moving.
Not loud.
Not obvious.
Just shadows slipping out of the school… one by one.
Outside—
Jay didn't look back.
Not once.
Her steps were steady as she walked past the gates, turning into the quieter streets beyond.
Streetlights flickered above.
The city noise faded the further she went.
And behind her—
At a distance—
Section E followed.
"Keep space," Edrix whispered.
"We're not amateurs."
Denzel rolled his eyes. "Speak for yourself."
Cin ignored them, eyes locked on Jay's silhouette ahead.
"She knows," he murmured.
Eren frowned. "Knows what?"
"That we're here."
A chill ran through the group.
Ahead—
Jay turned a corner.
Gone.
"Move," Edrix said sharply.
They picked up their pace—careful, controlled—
Turning the same corner—
Empty.
For a split second.
Nothing.
Then—
"There."
Felix pointed.
Far ahead—
Jay was still walking.
Like she'd never disappeared at all.
Josh let out a quiet breath. "She's playing with us."
"Or testing us," Eman said.
Jay's lips curved faintly.
Barely noticeable.
She knew.
Of course she knew.
Their footsteps.
Their spacing.
Their hesitation.
Too careful.
Too aware.
They weren't hiding.
They were hunting.
Good.
The streets changed.
From crowded…
To quiet…
To almost deserted.
Tall walls began to line the road.
Security cameras.
Iron gates.
Places people didn't just… walk into.
Denzel slowed. "Where the hell is she going?"
"No idea," Rory said, voice lower now.
Even Josh had gone quiet.
Then—
Jay stopped.
The group froze instantly, slipping into shadows, behind walls, trees—anything.
No one breathed.
Jay stood in front of a massive gate.
Black iron.
Tall.
Imposing.
The kind that didn't open for strangers.
For a moment—
Nothing happened.
Then—
The gates opened.
On their own.
Slow.
Silent.
Like they were expecting her.
Section E stared.
"…What?" Kit whispered.
Jay walked in.
No hesitation.
No pause.
Like she belonged there.
The gates began to close.
"Move!" Edrix hissed.
They rushed forward just in time—slipping through before the gates shut completely.
Barely.
And then—
They saw it.
The mansion.
Lights glowing softly across a massive estate.
Clean architecture.
Sharp edges.
Glass and stone.
Security everywhere.
Not loud.
Not obvious.
But powerful.
No one spoke.
Not at first.
"This…" Mayo finally said, "…isn't normal."
"No," Cin agreed quietly.
"It's not."
Ahead—
Jay kept walking.
Up the long path.
Like she'd done it a thousand times.
She reached the entrance.
The doors opened.
Again—
Without her touching anything.
And just before stepping inside—
She paused.
For a fraction of a second—
Her head tilted slightly.
Not turning.
Not fully.
But enough.
Like she could feel them.
Every single one of them.
Standing there.
Watching.
Then—
She walked in.
The doors shut.
Silence.
Section E stood frozen outside the mansion gates.
Processing.
Failing.
Trying again.
Denzel exhaled sharply. "Tell me we all just saw that."
"Nope," Josh said. "Because if we did…"
Eren finished quietly—
"…then we've been seriously underestimating her."
Cin didn't move.
His eyes were locked on the mansion.
Sharp.
Focused.
Realizing.
"Guys," Felix said slowly, "who is she?"
No one had an answer.
But inside—
Behind those walls—
Jay leaned back against the closed doors.
Calm.
Unshaken.
Her phone buzzed.
A single message.
Unknown:
You let them follow you.
Jay smirked slightly.
Jay:
I know.
Her eyes flicked toward the security screen—
Showing Section E outside.
Every single one of them.
Watching her world.
Without realizing—
They had just stepped into it.
