Chapter 57 - "Shock: Athena Awakens, Piercing the Lord."

"Demon Cyborg" Genos swallowed hard.

He had already run the numbers with absolute precision. If he were the one facing that blue breath attack, his survival probability would be—

Zero percent.

Not "almost zero." Not "barely any chance."

Zero.

There wasn't even a statistical margin for escape.

Genos understood it better than anyone. Under that level of cosmic pressure, he wouldn't even be able to move. Lifting a finger, shifting a single centimeter—impossible. The force alone would pin him in place before he could think.

But… if it were Sensei…

Hope flared in his chest. He turned sharply toward Saitama—

And froze.

Saitama's face was something Genos had never seen before.

Serious.

Not bored. Not blank. Not mildly annoyed.

Serious.

For the first time, Genos saw vigilance in his master's eyes. A weight. A kind of quiet gravity he had never witnessed, no matter how powerful the opponent had been.

This was just a video.

And yet, the Saitama he believed to be limitless—untouchable—was watching with unmistakable focus.

How was that possible?

Could it be that even Sensei couldn't casually brush off an attack at that level?

Curiosity and unease burned through Genos. If that were true… then what kind of monster required Saitama to take it seriously?

"Sensei!"

Genos reached out and tapped Saitama's shoulder.

Saitama blinked and turned his head. The heavy look vanished instantly, replaced by his usual blank expression.

"Hm? What's up, Genos?"

Genos hesitated, then asked carefully, "If the creature in the video—the one that fired that breath—were your opponent… could you defeat it in a single punch?"

Saitama paused.

He tilted his chin up and actually thought about it.

"…No idea if one punch would do it," he admitted after a moment. "But… I kinda really want to fight those armored guys. The Saint something."

A small curve tugged at the corner of his mouth. It was subtle, but unmistakable.

Excitement.

The kind he hadn't felt in a long, long time.

"Opponents like that don't exactly show up every day."

Genos stood there, stunned.

He never imagined he'd hear an answer like that.

Which meant—

Even Saitama couldn't guarantee victory without question.

That level.

That kind of power.

The gap between Genos and the true pinnacle of strength was still unimaginably vast.

The World of Fate

In Uruk, King of Heroes Gilgamesh stood with a face darkened by fury.

He had barely swallowed the existence of Saitama—someone who crushed everything with a single punch.

Now a new group appeared. "Saints." Warriors in ornate armor whose power defied logic.

It felt like blow after blow.

His long-held belief—that all Noble Phantasms in the world ultimately belonged to him—was being shattered without mercy.

Not cracked.

Shattered.

Ground to dust and stomped into the earth.

The World of Demon Slayer

In another world, Muzan Kibutsuji felt his heart pound so violently it almost tore out of his chest.

When he saw the radiant Golden Saints—especially the moment the goddess Athena descended—

He wanted to crawl underground and never resurface.

What the hell was that?

Greek gods?

Were they real? Here?

Muzan had demons scattered across continents, hidden among humanity, infiltrating quietly.

But if beings with power like that ever noticed him—

His death would be inevitable.

For the first time in his long existence, he truly felt death close at hand.

Facing a higher-dimensional existence… a higher tier of power… the terror was suffocating.

"I can't die. I absolutely cannot."

He scrambled to his feet, trembling.

The Infinity Castle had to be hidden deeper. Beneath mountains. Beyond reach.

He had glimpsed hell once before, in the darkest corner of his memory.

He swore he would never go back.

Land of Light – Space Garrison Headquarters

Zoffy narrowed his eyes at the blue breath beam on screen.

"Interesting energy output," he said mildly to Ultraman beside him. "Almost comparable to new recruits in the Space Garrison's reserve unit."

Ultraman folded his arms. "Any records on that creature?"

Their duty was clear: catalog unknown monsters, assess threat levels, protect the cosmos.

Ace Ultraman strode in, eyes locked on the massive serpent-like beast—Cerberus.

"Forget the paperwork. Find the universe it belongs to and we wipe it out."

Ultraseven grabbed him. "Ace, calm down. We don't even know if it's a Super Beast."

Ace's jaw tightened. "I've fought enough of them to know. Super Beasts don't feel pain. Look at it!"

Silence fell.

Finally, Ultraman rested a hand on Ace's shoulder. "Let's observe first. If it's truly new, recording it strengthens cosmic security."

Ace exhaled sharply and sat down, reluctantly.

But in his mind, he was screaming.

It's obviously a Super Beast!

The World of Kamen Rider Decade

The leader of Dai-Shocker stared at the armored Saints on screen, mind reeling.

What are those?!

Another Rider variant?

No… no way.

He made a decision on the spot.

Lie low.

If he stirred trouble now and attracted Kamen Rider Decade, that was bad enough.

But if those flashy armored lunatics showed up in groups?

His world would be flipped upside down.

Back to the Battlefield

The scene shifted.

Seiya, clad in the Golden Sagittarius Cloth, became a streak of blinding gold.

Just before the world-erasing blue breath struck, he pulled Athena—Saori Kido—into his arms.

With a sharp kick, he sent Shiryu and the others flying to safety.

In a flash, he soared into the sky, barely escaping the fatal judgment of the false Pope, Saga.

The stone bridge below was vaporized. Space itself shrieked as it collapsed. Debris rained like meteors. Smoke swallowed the battlefield whole.

Saga laughed coldly.

Without her Cosmo, Athena should have died.

As for the Bronze Saints? Insects.

Then—

His pupils contracted.

Within the churning smoke, a faint golden light flickered.

Weak.

But vibrant. Like the first dawn breaking eternal night.

"Impossible!" Saga roared. "No one survives that!"

The golden light flared, then settled.

Seiya emerged, holding Saori tightly. The Sagittarius Gold Cloth fully covered him, divine radiance fading slowly.

"Are you okay?" he asked softly.

He didn't look at Saga.

All his attention—his gentleness—was for the girl in his arms.

Saori blinked awake.

She was alive?

"I said I would use my life to clear your path. Forever."

A calm smile touched Seiya's lips.

This was his vow.

To protect Athena. That was his reason for living.

"Can your wings fly higher?" she asked quietly.

The hesitation in her eyes burned away. In its place—divine clarity.

She understood now.

Saints protect.

And as Athena, she must guide.

Seiya carefully set her upon the forelegs of the Sagittarius Cloth.

His massive golden wings exploded outward.

With a burst of Cosmo, he became a comet streaking through hell.

Cerberus—Saga consumed by madness—howled and swung his massive scythe.

The blade tore open space.

Thousands of green spheres burst forth—compressed Galaxy Explosions—covering the sky in annihilating light.

The World of Naruto

In the Five Kage Summit hall, Onoki went pale.

As someone who could fly, he understood the situation better than anyone.

Each one of those green spheres locked onto its target. And there were thousands.

If it were him?

Obliteration.

A stared grimly at the screen.

What kind of bodies did those kids have?

He had tempered his physique with Lightning Release for decades, yet compared to them he seemed… mortal.

Absurd.

Utterly absurd.

Mei Terumi spoke quietly, her voice heavy.

"Maybe I'm wrong… but every single one of those green spheres feels stronger than our Tailed Beast Bombs."

"....."
