"I had really not expecte that I would make it here, but mother had asked to me accompany her here," Luna heard the man say, and forced herself to take her attention back from the other man and focused on her dance partner.
So that was how it was Luna thought. She guessed she had been right when she thought she had seen someone that looked like him in the crowd of people.
Since Luna was not in the ballroom for the quarter half of the banquet, she really didn't know about anything that happened while she was away, only what her sister told her earlier.
