"If you don't mind me asking," Lucien began again, and Luna was forced to look up from her food to glance at the man.
She wanted to scream that she did mind, that she didn't want to be questioned. If they didn't like her, they should tell their king so she could go back to where she was loved. But she stayed quiet, amber eyes shifting between both brothers apprehensively, biting her tongue as it grew stiff by the minute.
"What is your full name, Lady Luna?" he asked the girl seated at the same table as them.
"I'm Luna Harristone, Mi, milord," Luna answered, turning her attention back to her food only to see the king place a bowl of oxtail soup in front of her and gesture with his hand for her to eat. She looked up and glanced at him to see the mocking smile he always wore.
Everybody knew that Lycans had the need to make sure their mate was well fed, but she wasn't his mate, and she saw no need for their king to be doing this.
