Chapter 60 - Chapter 60 - The Pack Decides

The Red Moon Pack Assembly Hall was filled again.

Pack members sat quietly in curved modern seats.

Sunlight entered softly through the glass architecture.

Hazel stood beside Ryan at the front.

She was wearing a simple dark silver formal dress.

Nothing royal.

But she looked powerful.

Calm.

Alive.

Ryan spoke first.

"The pack has observed Hazel McCall's progress."

Murmurs moved quietly through the hall.

Ryan continued.

"She has survived awakening exhaustion."

"She has demonstrated control over emerging Blood Alpha lineage energy."

"She has maintained emotional and political stability."

Silence followed.

Then Ryan said:

"The pack council will vote on recognition of her future Luna authority potential."

Hazel's fingers tightened slightly at her side.

Nick stood quietly in the first row.

Annabelle watched proudly.

Sera remained serious.

Klara stood silently.

Mila watched without expression.

The elder wolf council member stood.

"We do not object to protection."

Pause.

"But Luna leadership is different."

Another council member spoke.

"She is not fully wolf-born."

Someone added quietly:

"But her power potential is significant."

Silence.

Then the elder wolf asked directly:

"Hazel McCall."

Hazel stepped forward slowly.

"Yes."

"Do you seek pack leadership?"

Hazel answered calmly.

"I seek understanding."

Silence.

Her answer surprised some council members.

Hazel continued.

"I am not here to take your pack."

"I am here because Alpha Ryan decided I belong here."

Her voice was steady.

"I will earn respect through strength, not claim through status."

The hall became very quiet.

Because her answer was politically mature.

The elder wolf nodded slowly.

Then spoke.

"The Red Moon Pack acknowledges your presence inside territory."

Not full Luna declaration.

But recognition.

First step.

Ryan's eyes softened slightly.

Hazel exhaled slowly.

The pressure she had felt for weeks reduced slightly.

After the meeting—

Pack members began leaving.

Nick smiled faintly.

Annabelle nodded proudly.

Gloria watched Hazel quietly from a distance.

Mila did not speak.

Ryan walked beside Hazel.

"Are you tired?"

"Yes."

"Good."

Hazel asked quietly:

"Did I pass?"

Ryan answered softly:

"Yes."

Pause.

Then he added:

"Pack respect is earned slowly."

Hazel nodded.

"I know."

Silence.

Wind moved gently across territory buildings.

The Red Moon Pack had officially begun accepting her presence.

Not as human.

Not as outsider.

But as someone standing between worlds.
