The dungeon exit was bright.
Sunlight blinded them after the dark caves. The forest was green. The air was fresh. A carriage waited at the road. Black. Gilded. Drawn by two white horses. It was luxurious. Expensive. Out of place in the wilderness.
Raven entered first.
He turned around. He looked at the group. Vess. Lena. The fire girl. The healer. The tomboy.
He frowned.
"Where is that tomboy?" he asked.
He looked around. The camp was emptying. Adventurers were packing. No tomboy.
"Ah," he said. He shook his head. "That bitch ran away."
"That bitch," he muttered.
A voice came from behind the carriage.
"I am here, you asshole! You forgot about me!"
Raven turned.
There she was. Juhi. The tomboy. She was carrying four leather bags. Two on each shoulder. Her arms were strained. Her face was red. Sweat ran down her forehead. She wore trousers and a loose shirt that hid her tits. Her hair was short. Her eyes were furious.
She had been forgotten.
