"Are we really going to adjust on that?" Luke asked, scratching his head as he looked at the makeshift bed, extended slightly for the night since he couldn't sleep in his own room.
Gustav grinned. "We'll squeeze in somehow. Monica, bring the sheets. They should have dried by now."
The woman nodded and left the room, leaving the two men behind.
Gustav then slowly removed the wooden stump from his missing arm and placed it to the side.
Luke crossed his arms. "Isn't there a better, lighter stump you could use? Something more suited to you?"
Gustav chuckled. "Well, I made this one myself… but of course, there are people who could make something much better. Though in the end, it depends on how much I can afford." He cast a subtle glance at his son.
Luke rolled his eyes, already regretting asking.
Shaking his head, he said, "Fine. Go find out how much a better one would cost and tell me the price."
