After Ginna finished hunting, she only carved off a portion of the meat for herself and left the rest behind for other wandering beasts.
There was already enough stored back at home from her share anyway.
The chunks she packed into the basket would mostly go toward Dalia's portion.
Now it was Luke's turn to accomplish the reason he had come here in the first place.
Gathering herbs.
Although he knew the required herbs grew somewhere within the forest, they weren't conveniently clustered together for easy collection.
He had to search carefully, moving from place to place while identifying which quality would work best for his potions.
"These herbs are pretty strange," Ginna commented curiously after watching him gather three different herbs in large quantities. "Why are you taking them? They don't go into any dish I know."
Luke answered vaguely,
"I'm trying to make medicine."
Ginna blinked in surprise.
"You can do that too?"
