"Ah...this is life." A satisfied smile adorned his lips as Luke came out of bath, his hair wet and body refreshed.
What was needed after a quickie with his dearest? Of course, it's a cold bath. And thanks to the perimeter they have created, he could bathe privately without exposing himself to the passer by.
"Are you coming with us?" Gustav asked after spotting Luke in the hallway, his brows raised slightly.
Luke was surprised to see not only the old man, but also Ginna, Lex, and Dalia already prepared to leave.
"You guys are pretty eager. Is it really that important?" he said while wiping his hair dry. "Go ahead first. I'll join you in a bit."
Gustav nodded before turning to the others. "Alright then, let's get going."
As they left, Luke let out a quiet sigh and stepped toward the hallway when, suddenly, Laila appeared in front of him.
"Ah!" she yelped in surprise after nearly crashing into him.
