"Ah, this is madness." Luke muttered, his eyes widening as his lips parted in disbelief.
He took pride in his sensory abilities, yet even he couldn't make sense of the bizarre phenomenon unfolding before him.
He stood almost parallel to the rock jutting out from the ocean. Until now, he hadn't detected the slightest sign of a settlement nearby, leaving him convinced that Grella had simply mistaken the rock for the location of her tribe.
Yet the moment he reached it, he saw it.
A vast town stretched out before him, its sandy shore serving as the entrance while the settlement itself extended deep into the forest. A massive gate stood at the boundary, leading into the tribe, and beyond it, he could see people moving about and hear the faint murmur of their voices.
It was as though an unseen force had veiled his senses, concealing the entire settlement until the very moment he arrived.
The realization was nothing short of astounding.
