The monster ignored her pleas.
A transparent rift appeared in midair.

Having emerged outside, I established a short-term goal.

It opened the door.

Officers peered past the door. To avoid suspicion, the Doppelganger opened it fully.
"Only the person who brought me to this hotel is here."

To the police, it appeared freshly awakened.

Seol-hwa joined the act.
They'd brought Lee So-hee to a hotel room.

Police asked routine questions before leaving.

The smiling Doppelganger exited the hotel room.
