Ever since Lohan "joined civilization," ceasing to be just a nomadic Slime lost in the forest, both he and Lisa had avoided logging out in random locations, worried about suffering a random attack from something passing by when they logged back in.
Whereas when they logged out in Thalendor or at their Guild Base, such risks no longer existed.
So, instead of just desperately logging out of the game, Lohan and Lisa decided to use this time to better familiarize themselves with their new powers by killing the monsters they encountered while returning to the Guild Base.
Lohan felt the change even before the first battle.
