Chapter 198 - Is lying really the only option?

It was a rare moment of pure enjoyment in his otherwise stressful life, and he deeply appreciated the brief sense of freedom the sky had given him.

 He hadn't bothered to tell Morris or Ayu a single thing about him leaving the adventurer guild's headquarters, but there was never any real reason to do so in the first place. 

 He was entirely his own master, and he didn't owe anyone an explanation regarding his private movements or personal whereabouts. 

 He had accomplished exactly what he needed to do down in the guild, and staying there any longer would have simply been a waste of his valuable time.

 By slipping away silently without creating a scene, he avoided any unnecessary questions, dramatic goodbyes, or lingering eyes that could compromise his hidden activities.

 The two of them had desperately wanted him to live permanently there in the adventurer guild, believing it was the safest and most logical place for a powerful asset like him to reside.
