On the third night, the library was shattered, as if an earthquake had torn through its walls. Dust hung in the air, books scattered like broken memories. Cristina ran to the cabin, her heart pounding.
David sat slumped inside, blood streaking his head and hands.
Cristina was crying ...and said "David! What's happening to you? Are you okay? And where is Lucian? Is he alive? Please, tell me!"
David (voice weak, trembling): "I can't explain… I don't have much time. Lucian said to keep you safe. Sign this paper. After today, you'll never come here again. Your memories will be gone."
He conjured money from the air, the notes fluttering unnaturally in the dim light.
David: "Lucian wanted you to have this, so you won't face problems."
Cristina sobbed, clutching the paper.
Cristina: "What happened to him? Please… is he fine?"
David's tears fell, staining the floor.
David: "I can't tell you more. Please… sign, if you want him safe."
Her hand shook as she signed, her body trembling.
Cristina: "Please… just let me meet him one last time. This is all because of me, isn't it?"
The door creaked open. Cristina stood, heart racing, hope surging—only to freeze. .
It wasn't Lucian. Lydia staggered inside, blood dripping from her head and hands.
Lydia (voice breaking): "We're trying… to do what we can."
Cristina, sobbing uncontrollably:
Cristina: "Take my soul if you must… but let me see him one last time!"
Lydia held Cristina's cheeks firmly, her own eyes wet with pain.
Lydia didn't speak at first, her silence was heavy.
Cristina's voice trembled as she sat on the floor, crying.
Cristina: "I want to see him… just once…"
Lydia's gaze softened, her tone heavy with sorrow.
Lydia: "Okay."
David shook his head, blood streaking his face.
David: "You're risking too much."
Lydia's voice cracked, but her resolve was fierce.
Lydia: "I want to do this—for her love. And for Lucian… he's dying to meet her. Don't you know that?"
Cristina stood, took Lydia's hand, and whispered through tears:
Cristina: "i don't know who you are.but . .Thank you…" then she hugged Lydia .
Lydia's grip tightened, her tone urgent.
Lydia: "Go to the library. In the middle, a door will appear. Go inside. Don't touch anything. Just meet him. But listen… he may not be fully in human form. So don't—"
Cristina interrupted, her voice breaking but determined:
Cristina: "I don't care how he looks!"
She ran toward the library, her heart pounding.
David turned to Lydia, his voice low, almost resigned.
David: "It feels like she loves him too… not only Lucian."
Lydia's eyes glistened, her voice soft but certain.
Lydia: "I knew."
