I sighed and held Suzune's arm, which was about to sucker punch Hashimoto.
"Hashimoto, stop gossiping."
"Oh. Sorry sorry. I will keep my curiosity to myself. Anyway, I am done with my lunch, so I am heading back."
Finally, we could eat our lunch in silence.
Woah... Suzune really is a great cook.
"It's really good!"
"Heh."
She smirked proudly on being praised.
"So, what club do you plan to enter, Suzune?"
"None. They are a waste of time. You?"
"Well, since admission into the college of choice is guaranteed, I think I can chill a bit and be a bit lax on studying. Maybe something like football? I guess I will check out all of them and then choose."
"...Student Council?"
I shook my head. I don't like Horikita-senpai, and I don't want to waste my time organising school festival and stuff.
"Still, wanna check it out?"
"Yes."

After the classes ended, we went to the gymnasium to check out the clubs.
Apparently, Tachibana the pervert is the Secretary of the Student Council.
According to the booklet given to us upon entering, there are various clubs, and most of them like Chess, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, Judo, Swimming, Archery and such, actually have some members who have managed to get into U-17 or U-19 national teams or individual contestants for Japan.
This is very impressive. This means that the school probably ignored the entrance exam scores for these sports oriented students.
But the club that caught my eye is MMA club.
For me, I have played all kinds of sports available in the middle school. I have been working hard to beat Horikita-senpai, so I worked a lot work on my physical abilities and research on martial arts.
Horikita-senpai has reached 5th Dan in Karate and 4th Dan in Aikido by the end of his middle school. I am not a genius like him, so trying to catch up to him like that is impossible to me.
In fact, he can probably end me in one serious strike despite my physical strength. That guy is an unreachable monster.
So I have been fighting with Suzune almost every week, trying to dodge all her attacks and subduing her with minimal blocking, and developing an Anti-Horikita-senpai fighting style. Suzune's fighting style is almost identical to his afterall.
I have surpassed Suzune in fighting ability, but Horikita-senpai is just a monster.
Moreover, we haven't fought in 2 years. Though I have physically grown more in the time period due to puberty, he is almost an adult. He must have gotten stronger opponents in this school. And he is a terrifying genius.
So I am not sure that I will be able to beat him up yet.
Still, the MMA club is the perfect place I was looking for. I am not very good in a single traditional martial art, but I am good in a mix of them dedicated purely towards beating up Horikita-senpai.
I messaged him.
["Hey, give a live demonstration for the MMA club, I want to beat you up."]
I remembered another thing, so I also added, ["Can you give me permission for addressing the gymnasium after your recruitment speech for Student Council?"]
I can just shout about what I want, but that will probably be counted as misconduct and lead to loss of points. Afterall, since this school is copying Social Credit System of China, it most likely disapproves of speaking to a large crowd without approval from the authorities.
His message came immediately.
["Apply for Student Council."]
["No way."]
["Then forget about my consent for a fight."]
...So he is threatening me that to fight him, I will have to attack him without his approval. So I will be punished.
That's one more reason to hate this guy.
["So, a seat in Student Council will be owned by me, or the school?"]
["You. But I can assure you that you wouldn't want to sell it to anyone."]
["So there is some problem in it?"]
["No."]
Yeah. He is straight up lying.
Since this school has a lot of psychos, assuming that there is one in the Student Council is a reasonable assumption. And he probably wants me to take care of the problem.
["Alright."]
But I agreed anyway. Beating him up is more important. If the Student Council is too troublesome, I will just sell it to someone else.
["Come to the stall of MMA club. Pay 1,000 points, and you can address the gymnasium after my speech."]
I paid him 1,000 points, and turned to Suzune.
"Suzune, I am going to beat up Horikita-senpai today."
She sighed and looked at me. She seems to have already expected that I will try to do it.
"Give up. It's impossible."
"Hey, don't you have some confidence in your boyfriend? I have reached the same height as him, so there is a chance."
"And that chance is 0. As your girlfriend, it's my duty to tell you the objective truth before you hurt yourself."
"But, who will you cheer on?"
She flinched and was caught in a moral dilemma.
"Are you my wife from some drama, asking to choose between you and mother?"

"...Since he will 100% win, I will cheer for you."
She said in a low voice, not making eye contact with me.

"If you don't stop doing this, I will kill you."
My grim widened and I whispered, "Kill me by snu~ snu~?"
Her whole face became red, and she covered her face in embarrassment.
Did she get reminded of last night?
I can't believe she can actually be so cute.
I grabbed her hand, and we headed towards the MMA stall.
"... You go alone. I can't face him."
"There is nothing to be ashamed of. That bastard doesn't care. At best, he thinks that it is 'interesting', like he is some Cold Duke of North."
"What the hell is that?"
"A Villainess genre trope."
"... You read that as well?"
"Aside from BL, I think I have read every genre."
"Oh? Hentai as well?"

Yesterday, she didn't understand the social cues on what should be said and not, and now she is suddenly the master of dirty talk?
My heart can't take it!
Taking this chance, she slipped her hand from mine, and ran away blushing.
Geez... Don't say it if you end up getting so embarrassed.
I mean, say it, but when we are in private.
The glares and the 'Couples should blown themselves up' death beams are really intense.
"You two are really attracting attention."
I turned around, and Horikita-senpai was looking at the path Suzune took to run away.
He still has that look of disappointment towards her.
"Horikita-senpai, you have safety spectacles on hand, right?"
"There is no need for it. You wouldn't actually aim there, so these mind games are futile."
Tsk. He always reads me like a book, except for the reason why I am so obsessed with beating him.
"But, that will lead to a handicap for you. So, I will give myself a handicap as well. You can fight however you want, but I will only use martial arts. Even dirty tricks are acceptable."
"Fine by me."
And so, it is time to finally beat up Horikita-senpai.
