—Somewhere At SilverHold (The First Fortress Wall)—
"Lord Zander?" Captain Ruggard breathed out in surprise.
Zander NorthSteed, royal uncle and former Cardinal Beta of the North, swaggered towards the carriage with the hood of his cloak pulled down.
"Captain Ruggard." Zander greeted back curtly, voice holding an edge that made the pack guard wolves to part ways for him.
"Zander NorthSteed greets the Queen Dowager." He announced with a bow in front of the carriage.
Silence followed, stretched for seconds before a frosty, husky voice cut through the air.
"No need for the theatrics, Zander. You may enter."
Zander cut a warning glare at Captain Ruggard.
"You know what to do. No one approaches. No one listens."
Captain Ruggard bowed his head. "Of course my lord. The pack guards will retreat to a safe distance."
Zander breezed past the guard, entering the grand carriage.
